How long have you worked in IT recruitment?
I started my career in IT recruitment in 2004.
Why do you enjoy working in IT recruitment within the Bay Area?
The work we do is always changing and companies are increasingly looking at IT solutions to give them a competitive edge.
What makes you a great recruiter?
I love building relationships with my clients. I’m a good listener and problem solver.
How did you first learn about Maris Consulting Group℠?
I was contacted by a recruiter about the role. I was surprised to learn that Scott Davidson was running Maris℠. Coincidentally, Scott and I had met about five years earlier.
What are 3 words to describe the Maris Consulting Group (or your impression thus far)?
If you were to provide advice to peers in tech seeking to develop their careers, what would it be?
Don’t get caught up in what didn’t work. Focus on the little wins everyday.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley?
Anything outdoors… hiking, running, photography, camping!
What did you originally want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a newspaper reporter.
What’s your favorite ’90s jam?
In the 90s, I was riding my skateboard and listening to punk rock like Bad Habit by The Offspring.

A South Bay native, Jennifer Moss graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She directed child care programs for Santa Clara Valley’s YMCA before she started off her career in IT staffing at Oxford Global Resources. During her 15 years with Oxford Global Resources, Jennifer took on various sales and leadership roles. She loves the fast-paced nature of recruiting and the enjoyment that every day is a different challenge.
Outside of work, you can catch Jennifer enjoying outdoor activities with her family. She’s also a landscape photographer, always looking for the perfect shot.
