Job Summary:
This role involves developing and executing manual and automated tests for cloud and application technologies, with a focus on ensuring software quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to contribute to a comprehensive testing process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and scenarios for manual and automated testing.
- Write and maintain test cases/scripts, and automate test cases where applicable.
- Perform various types of testing, including smoke, application, functional, and regression testing.
- Document and track test results, defects, and other quality metrics.
- Enter problems and issues into the tracking system and actively participate in their resolution.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality standards and best practices.
- Experience with testing cloud and application technologies.
- Experience in test automation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with common test tools such as Junit, Postman/Newman, and TestRail.
- Experience with GitHub
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Pay rate: $50 - $65 per hour.
